plane
plane mounts directly to a junction box while the driver (power supply) resides within the junction box. Three types of junction box configurations are compatible with plane.

1. 1 1/2" deep, 4" octagonal junction box with plaster ring. Hanger bars must be side mounted.

2. 2 1/8" deep, 4" octagonal junction box with side mounted hanger bars.

3. 2 1/8" deep, 4" square with side mounted hanger bars required for emergency battery back-up.

tile
tile may be recessed into gypsum board ceilings or walls. tile frame housing is installed into the gypsum board rough opening in walls or ceilings. The tile frame has built-in beading detail for mudd work and sanding. The result is a clean control joint offering a reveal around the recessed tile. All hardware, including junction box and bar hanger is provided by io lighting. Junction boxes are shipped with both options. raye
raye may be surface mounted within an architectural cove (indirect illumination) or in a perimeter wall slot (direct wall washing). Both conditions require that the architecture of the cove or wall slot be constructed of drywall, sheet rock or an equal material specified by an Architect. raye is designed to be mechanically fastened either horizontally or vertically to drywall or sheet rock. When installed in continuous rows, the housing forms a continuous wire way.
